Hopefully I understand the question.  I use my laptop with a M-Audio uno midi-usb connector.  I will check back this week to see if this is still an active thread.  Nadier, if you reply let me know if you use the Floor POD or the Floor POD plus (I have the plus).  I downloaded the Vyzex software from the Line 6 download area.  It works very good for me and opens up a lot more controls this way.  I use this rig more for recording but have used it for stage as a backup.
