how to connect pod x3 live with cubase sx

Hi I have A pod x3 live , my problem is that i cant record via midi throu cubase sx .

can you pls help me?

The X3 is not a general MIDI interface; it only handles MIDI program and parameter changes. You need a separate MIDI interface connected to cubase to record note on/off MIDI events.

Specifically you need to connect it with USB and use the drivers that way.

MIDI doesn't pass audio after all. And the X3L isn't a keyboard!

There is a good install help file under FAQ on this site.
After you follow the directions and have specific Cubase questions, I'm happy to assist as are others on these boards.
