Is that a typo in the release notes?

The Pod HD500 Flash 1.40 release notes states "The current version of POD HD500 Edit (v1.06) does not provide provisions to control Variable Input Impedance nor Global Input Selection parameters."
However, my line 6 monkey says that my HD Edit v.1.03 is current. Does anyone know if there is a v.1.06 somewhere, or is that just a typo?
The HD editors v1.06 are not released yet. I expect them early next week.
1.03 definitely doesn't contain controls for the variable input impedence. will 1.06? from what i've heard, yes; so that is a typo.
Yep its a typo:
In the meantime it would be nice if L6 would include in its release notes in an obvious way what the default setting is once the new firmware is applied. I assume it is set to "auto" but it isnt obviously spelled out and one would think it would be considering this is the major change with this update.
FWIW: I know the default is auto and I leave it on that setting as it sounds best to me I just think it mighta been kinda cool to have put this major item right up front in release notes in an obvious way rather than sifting through pdf manual.
Surely I am not the only one that was wondering this right off the bat as the very first question in my mind?
That was a typo until we released the POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Edit v. 1.06 software today.

I've installed 1.06, but I still can't find the option to control input-z...am I being stupid/blind?
It happens to me sometimes...
You're not blind or stupiod - you just didn't read the release notes for v1.40:
The current version of POD HD500 Edit (v1.06) does not provide provisions to control Variable Input Impedance nor Global Input Selection parameters. These features are currently only accessible within the POD HD500 hardware GUI.
D'oh! Well thanks for clearing it up! Think I'll just leave it to auto and be done with it haha. Cheers ![]()
