POD HD 400 Delay...Problem?

When using the assortment of Delays on the 3rd FX switch, i'm finding that i have to let the Delay's feedback completely disappear before switching the Delay off.
If it is switched off prior to this, the next time it is switched on, the previously delayed note or chord continues to ring out. Understanderbly I can reduce the feedback time but just wondering if this is common or if I have a faulty unit, as I have never had this with other Delay or Multi FX Units I have used.
Is there help at hand..?
This is not unique to your device - it is common behaviour.
I believe Line 6 has noted this as a bug and it wil likely be resolved in a future firmware update. But just in case, you should make a feature request here for the behaviour you would like to see:
OK, cheers. Clears that up for me. Thanks for your speedy response, appreciated.
1 year on and this problem still exists, any other solutions?
yep it;s really annoying little fault....... in fact I ended up selling my HD400(i ran out of patience waiting for this issue to be fixed) and getting the HD Bean. I use the bean exclusively for recording and have switched back to my old GT10 when using my amp ( not only do you not get "ghost delay" notes re-appearing when engaging the delay pedal but you also get nice delay "spillover" when switching channels or patches - something the 400 couldn't do)
Well thats a bit of a doozy. I havent noticed thison the 500. I may just not have come across it yet.. or is it HD400 specific?
yep.....it seems to be unique to the 400.I have certainly never read any posts from HD500/300/Pro users regarding this and it certainly doesn't happen on the Bean.
