Can I connect my Axe-Fx Standard to my Line 6 Flextone III XL ?

I just thought of this.  I dont want to sell my Flextone & I'd love to use it in my rig for the power and 2x12 but bypass all effects and the preamp.  Is this possible to essentially turn my XL into a powered 2x12 cabinet when connecting an Axe-Fx to the effects loop of the XL?

 

Please tell me there is a way!
