Non Line 6 Amps with HD5000

When not using a Line 6 amp (I own a Fender Cyber Twin), what are the best setting on the amp (gain, bass, treble, presence, etc.) to experience the best sounds of the HD500 Pod?

Best way is to connect the pod right in to the power amp section of the amp,

Dont know if a cyber twin has a effects loop, but then you can then plug the 1/4" out of the pod in to the effects return of the amp.

You can also use " the 4 cable method" there is a line 6 vid that explains that. you then set the pod to "poweramp combo" output mode.

ofcourse plugging in front is an option but is not ideal.

    Hi,

    +1 to MGBlade,

You can connect the L/Mono Out on the HD500 to the power amp in or return on an amp and bypass the preamp modeling. Or connect  it via the 4 Cable Method:

       1. Wire: Guitar into the input of the HD500

       2. Wire: Effects loop send of the HD500 into the input of your guitar amp

       3. Wire: Effects loop send of the guitar amp to the effect loop return of the HD500

       4. Wire: HD500 output into the effects loop return of the guitar amp
