I have just ordered a JTV 59 Variax guitar. My amp is a Vetta11. a;-  What is the best way to run them together, through a VDI cable, or normal 1/4 inch cable.

b;- Can i assign through line6 edit, any of the 25 guitar models and tunings of the JTV to one of my patches, with the FX and amps of the Vetta. In other words incorperate the JTV 59 into the saving of a user patch. Many thanks for any feedback.
