POD Studio UX2 and Garageband

I am having a miserable time trying to record vocals through Garageband. I have successfully recorded guitars, but I cannot get ANY signal with vocals. I have tried two different mics (a condenser mic and a Shure mic), I've tested the cables and I've downloaded the latest drivers. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi,

The ux2 has two inputs, you need to ensure that the correct one is selected (I.e. the microphone input).

You can find the setting you need by selecting the i button on the lower right screen, then make sure you select real instrument from the two tabs at the top (should be over the picture of the speaker. Then select my settings from the drop down box underneath the picture of the speaker and select the correct input source.

    Hope this helps

    +1 to acresfield,

Do you have a the proper input selected in Garage Band? If you are connected to mic input 1 you should be able to select input 2 in Garageband and record.

    Thanks,

    David
