Ux1 cutting out every 20 seconds or so

Since my sound card is royally screwed at the moment, I've been trying to use my UX1 for all sound purposes as well as my normal recording usage. This is all great, the sound plays fine at good quality - however, every 10-15 seconds or so of usage, any sound completely cuts out for about half a second before returning as normal. this is rather irritating, it must be said, and any help would be appreciated.

NB - have tried with other ux1's and cables and seem to have the same problem. have also tried in different USB ports etc.

Re: Ux1 cutting out every 20 seconds or so

Make sure to download and install the latest Line 6 drivers for your operating system:

    Windows Drivers 4.2.5.1:

    http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=4399

    MAC Drivers : 7.1.3

    http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=4321

Once the drivers are installed you will need to install the Line 6 Monkey application from the links below:

    Windows Line 6 Monkey 1.43:

    http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=4223

    MAC Line 6 Monkey 1.43:

    http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=4222

Once Line 6 Monkey is installed, remove any additional unnecessary USB and firmware devices from your computer when troubleshooting this issue. Make sure to connect it directly to a USB port and not a USB hub, extension, or keyboard of any kind, preferably connect it to a USB port on the rear of computer. Try using additional USB cables and every USB port available until you are able to launch Line 6 Monkey and detect the device.

After Launching Line 6 Monkey apply any updates that are available until you have a green check next to each component.

To make sure your UX1 is setup correctly as the system sound card, reference the tutorials we have at the links below:

    Windows Vista - 7
