POD HD500 main board replacement

I bought a POD HD 500 and it died.
I took it to the authorized repair center and was shocked at how much the repair was going to cost.
I work on computers, so I understand that complex circuits sometimes fail.
I also know that it should not cost $330 to replace one part ever if it is the main board.
Is there any way for me to buy the part because I already paid $500 and have had it less than a year ?
If it's less than a year old, why woulnd't it be covered under the warranty? Your best bet would be trying to call Line 6 directly on this.

Please let us know if you can or can't buy one...There's no way I'd pay that much to have someone do something that I could do myself so it would be nice to know if you can buy replacement parts.
I was told that the Line 6 warranty was 90 days.
I have had every version of the POD and I am really disappointed.
Also, how much more could it have cost to put a power switch on the POD HD 500?
The warranty on the HD500 is one year. You can look here for reference: http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-2300
If the service center is giving you trouble, call Line 6 directly at (818) 575-3600.
+1, You have a 1 year warranty on the HD500. You should be able to get it repaired for free.
