Input gain setting itself low

I have a Pod HD pro, and a couple of times, my patches seem to have spontaneously changed in character and volume - as if the input gain or my guitar was rurned down so low as to barely drive the amp models. No drive, low output volumes etc. Both times, I saved off the presets and reflashed the unit, and the volume and drive was restored. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix? I am on latest firmware.
I am not aware of any settings on the unit that set the input gain globally ...
You said you're with the latest firmware.
Does your problem happens on the previous firmware version? Try rolling it back to the previous version and post the results so you can see if it's a problem on your unit or just a firmware problem.
Thanks - I'll give it a try. I just noticed other users reporting the same thing with 1.4 so I'll see if an earlier version is any better.
Another used with the HD Pro had a very similar problem and I've suggested rolling back the firmware and the problem's gone.

Try the 1.3 firmware version and post the results. Test a few days... post the results.
If everything gets back to normal, I'd go further than the user of the post above and I'd update again to the 1.4.

Yep, I'll give it try, both old then back to new, but I am away on business for a week, I'll report back when I get back.
