How can i transfer a normal wave file to 16 bit mono 44100hz

I tried to put a song i had on my computer on to my amp to play and record along with it. However it is unable to do so because the format isnt 16 momo 44100hz. Does any one know how i can get normal wave files into a format that will work with spider jam?
