wah on hd 300

hi everyone ive just bought an pod hd 300 and the wah on it sounds okay but it only goes from 100 - 43% ive looked at the settings and i cant find a way to change it so it goes from 100 to 0 can someone please tell me how to fix this?

If you've just received your device you should check to see that the firmware is up to date. Run Line 6 Monkey with your HD300 connected to your computer. Check to see if your firmware needs to be updated.

Next, recalibrate your pedal. See:

Finally, check the VOL menu where you can set the volume pedal min/max values. For full pedal range you want to set the min value to 0 and the max value to 100. (see manual page 4.5). I presume this setting will apply when the pedal is being used to control Wah as well as Vol.

  thanks very much bro, i have one last question, how do i switch it off? i read somewhere to just take out the power lead but doesnt that seem alittle damaging? oh and can you calibrate the pedal without restoring factory settings cos i have some setings i made which i dont want to loose?

    To turn the HD300 off you unplug the power supply, either at the wall or at the rear of the HD300 device. Many people use a power bar with a switch on it to control on/off for the HD device as well as otyher equipment (e.g. amp or powered PA speakers).

    If you have settings you don't want to lose I highly recommend that you back them up regularly using HD300 Edit. Do it now, and do it whenever you've made changes that you don't want to lose.

  also i hold down the pedal and nothing happens theres no cllick?

      ... like REALLY hard! Initially the toe switch is really stiff and you have to put a lot of weight on it. It loosens up with usage.
