Stocking policy

Just come back from my local independent Guitar retailer here in the UK and was talking to him about a few things, one of which was the JTV.

To my disappointment he told me that after a demo from a Line6 rep he was very interested in carrying the JTV but was told that Line 6 would only let him do so if he agreed to take a 6 guitar package (including models that - in his opinion - would not be popular with his clients). As a result the nearest stockist to me that carries the JTV is a good distance away. It isnt even as if the local supplier doesn't already have a relationship with Line6, every time I go in there is always a stack of Spider amps, pods, rack units etc. In fact to date I have bought a KB37, and X3L and an HD500 from this stockist and I am grateful that I can deal with a local supplier.

Now I realise that I am only hearing my suppliers view, but to say I am disappointed is an under statement. I really would like to hold, feel and experience the JTV before upgrading from my 700.

Just my 2 penneth.
