JTV-59 or 69

Does anyone know the body dimensions of the JTV-59. I am getting ready buy one and would like to know if it will fit in my gator g-tour strat case. I used the same case for my variax 700 when I had it so I'm hopeful. Also have the problems that they were having with the JTV-69 neck been fixed yet? Thanks Josh

    The dimensions of JTV-59 from tip of headstock to the strap post at the body is 38 3/4". The widest part of the body is 13".

     

    The dimensions of JTV-69 from tip of headstock to the strap post at the body is 38 1/2". The widest part of the body is 12 1/2".

     

    What problems are you having with your JTV-69 neck?

    Hi Josh,

    I don't know that case, but I'm pretty sure the JTV-59 would be too 'deep' for it. From the back to the top of the bridge is a lot further than a strat. My 59 didn't fit in my generic hard case, so I got a Hiscox Les Paul case. See my photos and other people's posts at this thread: http://line6.com/support/message/324865#324865
