Pod Farm 1 vs Pod Farm 2

Hi,
Apologies if this is answered somewhere in this forum, I have searched but can't find it!
I have Pod Farm 1 using my POD XT as the dongle.
I was kind of tempted to upgrade to Pod Farm 2, but wonder if I will lose some fx?
For example, in Pod Farm 1 is a nice "multi-head delay" (looks like space echo).
I was looking in Pod Farm 2 list of FX on the product page, and it looks like it's not there.
My POD XT is standard, with no added fX, and I was looking at the ordinary vanilla PodFarm 2, not the Platinum version.
I'd like the extra fx routing etc POD Farm 2 gives, but I don't want to pay for it if I end up with less FX.
Hope this makes sense!
Thanks for any info.
Kwackman.
If you upgrade to PF2 will have everything your PODxt has. You will gain the flexible routing, and you will also be able to authorize you computer and will no longer need the xt as a dongle.
Something to keep in mind (which doesn't apply to your situation, but I'm throwing it out there for others that may search this topic) is if you authorize your computer).
If you have a unit that came with a factory add-ons, like the PODxt Live which came with FX-Junkie for free, and you authorize your computer, the FX-Junkie models will not be available unless you use the xt Live as a dongle.

Thanks Triryche for your reply.
I bit the bullet and got Podfarm 2.5 for my XT.
As you said, it looks like I can run PF2 without the POD XT attatched which is nice, except.......
My multi=head delay FX, is only available when the POD XT is connected.
I thought maybe I had bought FX junkie in the past and forgot about it, but I haven't, and anyway from what I can see the Multihead delay isn't part of FX junkie anyway.
I'm not sure if anything else is missing in "no POD connected mode", all the amps seem to be there.
Any thoughts?
The good thing is I still have multihead delay with PF2, as that was my original worry!
Cheers,
Kwackman
Power Pack will be missing when the XT is not connected.
Ah, thanks bigChas52, that explains it.
Many thanks for the info!
Also, forgot to mention, if you later purchase a model pack for your PODxt, it will also be availbe in PF2.
