Hardcore tone settings?

What's a good way to get a heavy, crunchy sound out of my Spider iv 75w? I just bought it and it's something completely new to me. I'm leaning towards the kind of hardcore tone like that of The Devil Wears Prada, Attila, Emmure, etc... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well to start what type of guitar are you playing.?
I may have something i created to help you with.
also do you have Spider IV Edit installed.?
I could just upload my tone and send you the link.

here is a tone i created, give it a try and see if it's something you can use.

  I just bought a Shecter omen-6 along with it. And I don't believe I have that installed. How would I do that?

if you go to tut videos you can see it.. it's here at the forums some where.
or google line 6 sipder IV edit how to, they have a video of what and how to install this to get started downloading and uploading tones.
