Panning signal paths not working

Hi,

I'm trying to use the HD500 for vocals and guitar.  My guitar is routed out to the DT25 amp (no problem), and my vocals are routed out through the R/MONO 1/4" out.  My problem is that no matter what I do, some of the guitar sound is also routed out through the R/MONO output.  Has anyone managed to create a patch that avoids this?  I seems to me that this should work, but it doesn't.  PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I've tried using the PAN effect havn't had any luck with it yet.

Here is what I'm doing:

Input 1 guitar, Input 2 mic

path A 100 L, path B 100%R

Amp 1 Audio Left

L6 Link out to DT25

1/4" R out to amp.

my guess is that because you only have one 1/4" output plugged in, it's summing both the left and right output signals and sending them both out the right 1/4" output.  Try plugging in a cable into the left 1/4" output routed to nothing.  Otherwise, it looks like your settings are correct for what you're trying to do.
