How do you stop the sweepecho effect

I just purchased the FBV Exspress MK 2. When I push the A button on it, it goes to the clean channel...which is what I want...but it also give me the sweep echo effect...which is not what I want. How can I make this like I want? I have already downloaded the line 6 fbv control program. Thanks for any help on this matter.

Which amp do you have? You will need to 'wake up' the FX3 knob by touching it, then turning it all the way counterclockwise.

  I have a Line 6 Spider III 30 Watt amp. Not sure what the FX 3 knob is. Thanks for your help!

    Sorry, the Spider III 30s are different.

    There are 2 Smart FX controls, the one on the right is Sweep Echo/Tape Echo/Reverb. Just turn it all the way counterclockwise.
