TonePort UX8 Headphones out sounds mono?

Hi
I’m having some problems with my TonePort UX8 headphones out.
The signal coming out of the headphones sounds like it’s in mono.
I have checked the control panel and inputs 1-2 are definitely panned hard left and right.
The headphones works perfectly fine in any other device I plug it into and the ¼ jack is stereo.
Are there any shared effects in your signal chain that would sum them back to mono? Mono effects will do that.
Nope, I t when I listen to a song through winamp.
How are you connecting Winamp to your UX-8?
As a test, have you tried recording the output and listening to the recording to see if you still have separation? I'm trying to figure out whether you have a defective headphone jack, or if the signal is somehow being summed in the UX-8.
How do I record the output?
Im just using my toneport as a soundcard, so playback thought the headphones out is supposed to be stereo regardless right?
Im not at my tone port at the moment but I don't have a stereo cable to record the output. Only instrument cables though.
any other tests?
Use the UX-8's ASIO sends with your recording software.
