POD HD400 Tuner Problem.

Hi Everyone,

I have this strange problem with the built-in Tuner on my POD HD400. The problem is whenever I enter the Tuner mode by holding the Tuner FS and then Tune my guitar and hit either the Tuner FS or anyother Foot Switches, instead of returning back to the preset I was playing before switching to Tuner mode goes to other presets randomly. For Example, let's say I am playing the preset on 26D and then enter the Tuner Mode and after tuning I hit the tuner button or D Footswitch to get back to 26D but instead of returning to 26D it goes to 23D (different bank) or 26C (same bank). I know this is strange but don't know what's causing this problem. Can anyone help me our?

    Re: POD HD400 Tuner Problem.

Please try to provide a specific and reapeatable recipe to reproduct this behaviour. I suggest you make sure HD400 Edit is not running (just to remove one variable).

Start by powering the HD400 on and then list the minimum sequence of footswitch operations to repdroduce the problem. Then others can try to reproduce it wnd we'll be able to tell if it is something that needs to be fixed in the firmware or if it's just something with your device.

If the latter, I would start by backing up any important presets and then do a factory reset.

    followed by a pedal calibration:

If that doesn't work, I would run Line 6 Monkey with the HD400 connected and update (or reinstall) the latest firmware.

Yes. And if that doesn't work you may need to reinstall the device firmware by running Line 6 Monkey.

I'm having a very similar issue with my HD300.  It's pretty infrequent, but it will take me to either a different preset or to 1A but without the actual preset loaded (it just says "User Preset").
