gearbox tone port ux2 with windows 7 64 bit

Hello

I had a device- gearbox tone port ux2 and operating system windows 7 64 bit.

When I try to install the device i got an error message that says: This software is not compatible with 64 bit versions of window.

What should I do?

There are drivers and if so what drivers to download?

Delete the installer and install again after the installation of drivers?

If someone can explain me step by step how to solve this disturbing problem I'd really appreciate it.

thank you all

David

It sounds like you might be installing an older version of the software from a disc, in which case the software is outdated.

Our current version of GearBox 3.72 is compatible with Windows 7 64 bit and can be downloaded from the link below:

The latest Line 6 drivers for your operating system are available from the link below:

    Windows Drivers 4.2.5.1:

    http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=4399

Once the drivers are installed you will need to install the Line 6 Monkey application from the links below:

    Windows Line 6 Monkey 1.51:

    http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=4618

Once Line 6 Monkey is installed, remove any additional unnecessary USB and firmware devices from your computer when troubleshooting this issue. Make sure to connect it directly to a USB port and not a USB hub, extension, or keyboard of any kind, preferably connect it to a USB port on the rear of computer. Try using additional USB cables and every USB port available until you are able to launch Line 6 Monkey and detect the device.

After Launching Line 6 Monkey apply any updates that are available until you have a green check next to each component.
