Hello!
Please help, I'm almost desperate.
When I run POD HD Edit it says that "this editor requires POD HD version 1.01 or higher" and recommends to run Monkey, but there's no POD HD in the list of devices, so i can't update firmware. What should I do? ![]()
Thanks in advance,
Ivan
Do you have the most recent version of Monkey
Yes I do. By the way, I'm using Mac OS Snow Leopard.
Have you tried running just the driver installer, (not with the Monkey).
You can download the most recent version here
+1 to Triryche,

hi,
Make sure you have got all of the latest updates which you can find under downloads, then search your device and download the versions above 1.01.
Also make sure you have updated monkey fully aswell.
hope this helps, blake
OK, I got all of the latest updates and then occasionally figured out that my POD HD is detected by Monkey when I'm not connected to the internet:
After logging in and checking for updates I find out that there are none:
I managed to update flash memory from the file, is there a way to update USB firmware from a file?
Thanks,
Ivan
Excuse me, can anyone please clear the USB firmware update thing? I still hope to put my greasy hands on those fancy custom tones ![]()
Bakklajohn, I don't have a ready answer to your USB updating issues, other than to say try using a different USB cable (if you haven't already). One odd thing I noticed with your screen capture above is that, unless you edited the picture, even if eveything is up to date there should be items in the list showing their versions, etc. It should look something like this:
Thanks for the answer, but changing USB cables doesn't help. And I did not edit the picture, that's what I get after I connect to the internet and log in (since POD is recognized by Monkey only when there's no connection to the internet)
Interesting. Is it possible that you could bring your Pod to another computer, preferably another Mac? That would help narrow down the problem to being either with the Pod unit itself or your Mac.
+1 to varmint.
This could be a computer configuration error... Do you have another system you can try it on?
Thanks,
David
Hi I have exactly the same problem .
I'm sorry for being a little bit slow, I've just updated Monkey to 1.58 and everything finally works just great. Thanks everyone for help!
