G50 Transmitter design/manufacturing Flaw HELP!

I have a G50 Wireless System and the transmitter has a design/manufacturing flaw where it keeps breaking where the chord connects to the unit. Mine has now broke twice and I now have to use tape to keep the guitar chord connected to the unit. Have you remedied this flaw and if so can I get a new until sent to me and I will send you my old unit? Just like auto makers who have recalls you need to recall the transmitter and replace it with a more rugged design that wont break. Please contact me via email at vhtribute@hotmail.com with status. Thank you. -Derek Fuller
Agree 100%. Same exact thing has happened to me! I am a light to moderate user and I've gone through two now in a year. I have athletic tape wrapped around the cord on both transmitters to keep it from crackling and the cord from falling out. Serious design flaw! The small notch in the transmitter's "cable collar" where the cord snaps in is apparently made of plastic and easily gets stripped or broken. There's no way other than tape that I've found to come close to fixing it. What to do?
i think someone had fixed it with the transmitter connector (TB4M jack). Please look at walterw's entry at http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f203/line-6-relay-g-50-review-question-657652/index6.html. Hope this helps. I was planning to get the G50 but on halt now when i heard so many issue with the connector.
Guys, that jack issue is something we are actively looking into, but I can only suggest that for now, you visit one of our service centers (http://line6.com/service_centers/) for a jack replacement that won't void your warranty. Unfortunately, we cannot officially support the swap discussed in the thread above.
Ok Tony, please keep us updated on any progress. Meanwhile I'll keep taping my chord to the transmitter and hope for the best. Thank you. -Derek
