POD HD PRO VS POD HD500?

basically simple question, i read somewhere (cant remember where) that the pod pro's processor is more powerfull, and that the pod hd500 wont be able to dual tone as easy is this true, as the pice ranges are different, i have previously owned a hd500 unit, and im thinking of getting one of the two units again much apreciated. Re: POD HD PRO VS POD HD500?

The POD HD500 and POD HD Pro use the same Digital Signal Processing unit.  There is no difference in performance between the two.  Both units can share the same presets.

The main differences are physical in that the POD HD Pro has more i/o options and obviously it lacks control from the floor unless you also purchase an FBV MkII pedal board, with the best option being the FBV MkII Shortboard.
