Community: No "IN" Dial on podfarm please help!

No "IN" Dial on podfarm please help!

I don't seem to have the in dial showing up on my podfarm. The out dial is there that i can move. I only have one bar of the in and nothing to adjust it with?
I understand it should look like this, but i dont have the adjustable knob in the far top left

Are you using the Standalone or Plug-In version?

  I assume it's stand alone, i had someone else install everything for as it was given to me. Is there a way i can find out?

You would use the Plug-In within a compitble DAW.
That is what is in your screen shot.

The Standalone you would run POD Farm outside of your DAW.

The POD Farm Standalone does not have a an in trim knob.

  ah right, the screen shot isnt of my actuall pod farm, thats just what i assume it should look like.
  
  So i guess i need to make it a plug in (whats the best way to do that?) as i am experiecning a lot of extra fuzz when trying to hear back guitars through the program i am using to record.

What program are you using and how are you connected?

One typical work flow with a POD Studio device is to send the dry to your DAW while you monitor the wet.

Then add the plug-in after the fact (to the dry track).

    Are you connect via USB and selecting the Line6 ASIO device in Cubase?
    
    Also, which Line6 device are you using?

      Yup, connected by usb and the line6 asio is selected in cubase and im using the UX2, i have done all the loading in etc, registered and what not. I don't know how to make it as plug in mode, which i assume will be more compatible with cubase?

Is this a new POD Studio?
If you run the newest version of Monkey, do you have green check marks for drivers/firmware ect...

The plug-in is not more compatible, it is a difference in usage.
With the UX2 I usually arm to stereo tracks for recording.
1 track for sends 1&2 and the other for sends 3&4.
One of the track will be just the dry guitar signal, the other the wet (to remind me later what I had in mind).
I then add the plug-in to the dry track.

Seeing as you seem new to this, not sure where you may be going wrong, but I think you might just need to work on your patch settings.
