1st can I set this so there's no stopping the recording because there's a few moments of silence. And 2 I'm looking to plug this into either the line/tape out or headphone out of a soundboard for sterio recording. Are there certain setting to get the best of those types of recordings ?
1st: I don't know if you can completely disable this, but you can use the Backtrack Setup Utility to set the 'silence' time to some maximum before the redording stops. I don't know what the maximum time is.
2nd: I haven't yet found a way for my Backtrack+mic to capture a stereo recording. While it provides a stereo output I haven't successfully recorded a stereo input, from either the mic or the In jack. The In jack seems to be mono. If you have any luck please let me know.
There's an up to 5 second silence buffer you can set with the software, which is free at http://line6.com/software/index.html. On the second point, it's a mono input and a mono output duplicated as L + R for the headphones.
