Pod X3 modified for two guitar inputs (stereo)

Check this out, here is a description of a pretty simple mod for the X3 to accept a stereo guitar input: http://tinyurl.pruts.nl/6p7

 

The mod basically connects the mic channel to an unused pin on the guitar input and changes the input impedance to a more guitar-friendly value.

    Hi,

     

    Perhaps a long shot, but does anyone still have this guide or any other way to get stereo input on the X3, specifically the Live?

     

    I just want a way to connect a stereo input (keyboard, [i]etc.[/i]). As I supposed, and somewhat supported by [url=http://line6.com/support/thread/14160]this thread[/url], perhaps it’s as simple as connecting L to Guitar In, and R to the the Live-only Aux Input, then panning the two.

     

    I love the X3 Live, but this is the one thing I’m really missing. I know the POD Studio has 1 or 2 stereo line-ins, but I can’t afford to buy that separately, and I don’t want to have to get rid of the X3 Live in order to basically downgrade to the Studio or something else.
