Using a Pod XT Live in USA from UK

I will be touring in the USA in a few weeks time and I have a British bought Pod XT Live, do I need a specfic adapter or would a usual travel adapter work?

You will need a US-specific PSU - you could just buy a US PX-2 or an equivalent. Do NOT use a travel adapter, this only changes the plug-type, not the voltage. The other option would be a step-up transformer (110V to 230V). Be aware that the PodXT adapters are AC to AC, not AC to DC like the common ones you find in shops.
