I can't find it on the site, and the Monkey says there is no new update, but it's all over the site and I got a mail that there is one.
Where can I find this update?
The v2.0 update for the HD300/400 has not yet been released. It should come soon but no date has been announced.
soo?
8 days passed
Hey Line 6, I think you need to hire some more programmers cause´ from the outside it looks like you have one reeeaaally lazy guy working there.
How many multi-effects units have you programmed in the last year? ![]()
I was joking but waiting is frustrating. If there are new bugs I can understand it takes some time. I´ve been waiting to try the new Plexi amp since they first announced it.
lol, that one lazy guy just got lazier after reading your comment.

so, we ve got 6 months for update
I can only guess (like most others here) but my guess is that it shouldn't be too long. I wouldn't be put off by the lack of update from Line6, much as I think Line6 are excellent they are not always forthcoming about timing for updates.
I am an HD500 owner so I am lucky enough to have access to the update. Too be honest I can fully understand the frustration from HD300 & HD400 owners. Whilst any update from Line6 is a bonus - and I agree with those that have said on other threads that you should buy6 equipment based on what it can do at the time you buy it, not based on what might or might not be updated - the fact is that although HD300 & HD400 share much that is similar with the HD500, Bean and Pro there are differences and it is obvious that this is what is causing the delays, frustrating but I am sure it is unavoidable. As I said I can understand the frustration right from the first announcement the impression was that it would be across the range - trouble the ASSUMPTION was that it would be simultaneous release across the range, at least the update is coming.
I'm happy to wait for the conversion and for all the bugs to be worked out. It looks like the ones who've received 2.0 are wrestling with those.
they'll always be something... rather than generalizing... its best to read their complaints, and see if they'd bother you...
cause if you are waiting for it to be perfect... they'll have a new pod HDXXL+ line by then.....
often, the "bug" reports are followed by reasonable work arounds too...
not to mention... the new features might make up for the "bugs" (for you to decide)
Oh sausages.
I've been checking the Line6 website every few days to see when 2.0 would be available and today, oh joy, there it was. So I downloaded and installed the Monkey to my new computer and was wondering why it was telling me my 1.31 version was the latest, shouldn't it be 2.0 I was thinking? Then I read the small print on the Line6 website page about 2.0. Update for 300 and 400 is coming soon.
I had got so excited and then I was all sad ![]()
Hope the Line6 programmer can punch out the update for the 300 and 400 real soon. Really looking forward to trying out the new features and models.
Any news yet on when us lowly HD300 & 400 users will see this update?
nothing. but its cooming soon ![]()
Does anybody know a month or even a quartal when it's coming out? Can't wait for that plexi lead and ampeg.
Haven't heard a thing yet. It's becoming more and more apparent that the HD300 & 400 are the ******* children of the POD HD series. Honestly, I don't think as many people would be clamoring for this update if Line 6 hadn't led 300 & 400 owners to believe these updates would be released simultaneously with the 500, Desktop and Pro, like 1.31 was. I think it would have helped if somewhere in the initial press release they had stated that 300 & 400 owners would have to wait a significant amount of time longer.
All in all, I love my HD300, but I'm not at all amused with the cryptic way Line 6 announces updates.
totally agree ^^ I'm happy to wait for a bit, but keep us in the loop atleast. Love line 6 products, but it feels like oh you didn't buy the HD500, well you can wait then! I'm not the biggest computer buff out there, but i know enough, there would be very minor differences between the HD500 and 400, 400, etc. The only difference is they have less functions lol Which really shouldn't cause much of a hassle in the release of the updates..
line 6 deceives the users."Update for ALL POD HD FAMILY" for them means update for those, who paid more.More than a month sinse 2.02 realised for 500, pro and bean.Is that not enought? How long we must wait?
fuqing 1 month ![]()
Yeah, I gotta admit that I never expected to have to wait an additional five weeks after the initial three month wait for this update without as much as a word from Line 6 about when to expect it. Bugs, coding and programming aside, there's really no reason Line 6 couldn't give us a rough estimated date of arrival for this update.
This has me pretty bummed about the odds of any significant future support for the HD300 and HD400, including some important bug fixes needed for both the firmware and HD Edit.
Yes, it has been a LOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGG time now, mid January announcement,....now we are into May. I am going to sell my HD300 and get a Kemper, or maybe even an 11 Rack. I am getting very frustrated with the lack of true responsiveness and amp models on top of Line 6's crafty and misleading accouncements and business practices.
I posted a comment about the lack of update for POD HD 300 / 400 there and I can't find my post at all.
It was not hostile and was describing the way the update were presented on line6 homepage.
Have I been moderated in any way? Do moderators just delete customers post? I'm just curious as I can't find my post at all.
Thank you very much.

It is not uncommon for posts to be deleted - that's part of the normal operation of this forum. In some cases, yes - moderators delete abusive posts. But even innocent ones such as yours can be deleted by other users. This happens when a user (me, for instance) replies to a post made by another user (you, for instance) as I am now doing to your post. If you go back to your post and delete it you will have the option to also delete all 'children' (i.e. replies to) your post. As soon as you do that, the post I am making right now and also any further replies to it will also be deleted. And so if I go back to look for this post it will be gone.
I imagine that is what happened to your post - your post was part of a sub-thread that was entirely deleted by the person who made the post that started the sub-thread.
Gentlemen. I have only one request. Please give off microphone and cabsim in new version HD300 firmware. PLEASE!!!!!![]()
If L6 wanted to make nocab option in 300/400,i think they would make it long ago. It's strange in my opinion to cut off standart function, that every modeling pedal should have(and even cheap devises have),but we have what we have...
Oh I get it!
It's OK then.
My point was that there was something wrong with the way the update was advertised on the product page.
Anyway, I just think that the update won't come at all for POD HD 300/400 users.
I was just afraid to write what I was thinking on this forum.
And I'm not mad at all because it's ovious that developping a firmware for this kind of products is a hard task.
And I didn't want to be irrespectful in any way.
But hey.
as i said before 2.02 firmare realease for hd 500, there was something extra , unexpected, i am saying there is something more than new amps, and cab edit.
if only i m right
