Am I the only one who's 700 acoustic drains battery power even when unplugged?

Hi

I have a JTV 59, a Hardtail 700 and an acoustic 700 (all in black of course!)

 

I have issues when using the acoustic on battery power, in that the green light stays on constantly, and a set of 6 duracell batteries will drain overnight even when unplaugged and cased up....

Does this happen to anyone else, or am I missing a trick somewhere???
