Pod HD500 Looper Playback Volume problem

When using the looper in playback mode the volume is extremely low. Can not use this way. Have tried to adjust volume and rechecked setup. Would I need to reinstall the firmware?
Have you adjusted the volume within the Looper itself?
Select the Looper Block on the LCD Display and it gives you options to adjust Playback and overdub volumes.
Yes I have tried to adjust the playback volume and the overdub volume......any other suggestions?
Whereabouts is your Looper in your signal chain - PRE or POST?
I'm having the same problem. Doesn't seem to make any big difference where the looper is.
I have the playback and overdub volume on 100% but the playback signal is still really low.
What can be the reason for this?
Does anyone have an answer to this yet?
Strange, mine is actually louder
That's strange indeed. It doesn;t seem right that this behaviour is different for some people.
I would really lik Line6 to give us some answers here. Wahat can be the problem and how do we solve it?
I have the exact same issue. Looper is at the end. Interesting, last night, the first loop volume was fine, but the second and third were barely audible!
It seems I solved the problem for my situation.
Turns out the Hi cut and Low cut settings on the lopper are defaulted at 100%.
After turning them to 0% I got all the volume back!
So that's my shortcomming for not understanding those parameters but the default settings are kind of absurd IMHO.
Anyway, I hope this will help your situation as well
The controls in the Looper block seem to work differently than I expect:
- Hi Cut and Lo Cut turned up seem to add more highs and lows.
- Playback increased reduces the playback volume.
Check it out by recording a loop and then mess around with the controls. You'll find the looper settings in the tone patches versus in the looper mode or at least that's how I got to them.
The overdub parameter works differently than described in the manual too. It works the same way it does on the M-series.
I think you guys using the looper could find this diuscussion of mine helpful:
the Looper could attenuate the recorded signal by 6dB! ...
bye
