Okay so, I bought the Line 6 Spider III HD150 watt package that came with the 4x12 cabinet a couple years ago. My head has been malfunctioning, sometimes when I turn it on, 6 black boxes will apear in the display screen, and my pedals blink, and I can't play through it. I'll turn it off, wait, turn it back on, several times before I can even do a factory reset. Once I finally get it running, it will go for probably 20 minutes, and it will stop putting out all the power it should. It starts sounding really bassy and cheap sounding. So on that note, I was considering just selling my head to someone who wants to put the money in to fix it back up, because as far as I know it practically needs a new motherboard, which is almost as expensive as the head itself. I was wondering that if I got a new brand amp, Peavey or Mesa for say, would I be able to run that head through my Line 6, because I know line 6 is all technical and if I need a new cab I need to know that as well. In the picture I attached of the head, you can't see it in the picture for some reason. But in the display, all that shows up is 6 black boxes.
