Pod GX Hangs up entire sound system

So I'm having this weird problem - after I plug in my GX and use it for ~30 minutes it basically brings down my laptops sound card down and only software that produces sound is Pod Farm2 (if I don't close it after this "crash"). If I replug GX its lights stays red. Also if I restart the pc goes into an infinite shutting down state so if I want to get my sound back I need to turn whole power off and that's annoying to do every time I practice my guitar or want to use GX as external sound card (my audio input is broken but the sound card works perfectly).
I only have my wireless mouse as the other usb device and I've tried disabling my sound card before plugging in GX but nothing helps. Any ideas?
First make sure you have the most recent drivers.
Run the newest version of Monkey.
You plug in the GX it should take over as the soundcard. If your internal is still active you should set the GX as the default sound device and/or disable the internal soundcard.
Drivers are latest and GX is default and I've tried disabling on-board audio card, nothing helps :<
Is there any difference in behavior if your laptop is plugged in or not?
Heh, unplugged the power cord before plugging in GX and it's been working ok for 3 hours (1h with pod, 2h listening to music). Time will show if this actually helped or it's just random :<
Trying different USB ports can help as well, try another USB cable as well if the problem persists. If you are on a Windows computer, laptops will have power options for the USB, you might need to check and review them to they are set correcty.
