Monitoring Latency in Reaper w/ Podfarm 2 + GX

Hey All
I have PODFARM 2 as a VST in Reaper, and it works fine, but the monitoring latency is just slightly off, and it completely throws me when tracking. The recording input is 100% fine, I just can't get the playback latency to be on.
I'm using the Line 6 GX, tried lower buffer size and it just won't have it.
Any tips?
PS, the monitoring when I use Podfarm on the desktop (without opening reaper) is perfect.
you're really supposed to use the plugin as a post processing tool...
you can open standalone pod farm... and record both the processed and dry track as seperate inputs in reaper at the same time...
then you'd likely mute the dry track until time comes to mix down... and even then only if you wanted to tweak your original tone...
playing live with the plugin is asking for latency.
ahh! i'm quite the noob when it comes to the technical side of things. I'll try this! cheers!!
I'm having trouble telling reaper to track the two seperate inputs. No matter what setting Ichange in reaper it only tracks "A" from podfarm and leaves B alone completely.
Is tehre a specific setting I'm missing?
Insert 2 tracks in Reaper and arm them to record.
On one track select sends 1/2 and on the other select sends 3/4.
Make sure you have ASIO GX selected as your device in Reaper.
that's done it!!
cheers to both for the help!!
no prob. have fun!!
Stay in the mix and in the know.
