Thought I had already posted this question some time ago but wasn't able to find it back.

I own 3 variaxes (700 acoustic, 300 Nylon, 700 electric).

Am considering buying a JTV (69).

In the past, as I remember, the Variax 700 acoustic? and 700 electric had a mark1 and a mark 2 version (the mark 2's were updates to improve sound).

Am i right?

And....does anyone know whether a mark 2 JTV69 will be released in the future? Or any hardware updates whatsoever,  Is Line6 working on it?
