I have just purchased a used XT live unit so decided i would get an idea of the working's and such before it arrives. Anyway i seem to have managed to confuse myself in regard's of what i need to dl/whats available etc. So i do apologise for the following Q's, i have searched but a lot comes up for other units.

I have downloaded Monkey, Do i need to download the Driver's aswell before connecting the unit to pc?

If i want to get tones from Custometone library, how do i load them onto the unit, what programme do i require ?

I thought it was possible to adjust setting's with the unit connected to pc, and edit them on pc. I thought i had found this that gearbox was the programme, is this a feww programme or is it not available anymore?

Also, in regards of the tones available, are all XT family tones compatible on all XT unit's ??

Again i do apologise for asking what are probably some daft questions.
