Toneport UX1, PodFarm 2?

Hi there,

 

I recently purchased a toneport UX1 new from ebay and now I cant get it to authorize PodFarm. Am I doing something wrong? It opens GearBox without any problems but when I open PodFarm it just says it will only run in demo mode until I purchase a licence. Do I need to purchase PodFarm seperatley?

 

Please Help!

    Hi,

     

    What happens when you go to authorize it? I can't remember if it automatically just asks to be authorized or not, but if you run line 6 monkey programme, is pod farm in the list of things?

     

    Maybe someone else can help here.

    I too bought my UX1 on Ebay but I had no problems authorising it. Make sure you download and install the Line 6 License Manager. You should be able to authorise both your PC and UX1 here. Then download Line 6 Monkey and it will automatically check to see what software/firmware is available for any Line 6 products you have installed via USB.

    not all "toneports" came with a pod farm 2 license (pod farm 1 should work on all of them though)

    if your toneport has a redface it 100% didn't come with a pod farm 2 license (or a license to use pod farm 1 as a plugin either!!!! only pod farm 1 standalone)

    the blackface models are technically called "pod studios" but are the same hardware...

    those are likely, although not guaranteed, to have a pod farm 2 license... but will have a plugin license for pod farm 1 in addition to the standalone license.
