PLEASE HELP JTV-59 Battery Compartment Replacement part

Appreciate anyones help here,I have a JTV-59 which has a damaged Battery compartment . The LED's do not come on and do not power the rest of the circuit. I've checked and none of the soldered connections have failed (i.e the red,black and white wires going to the pcb on the compartment). I suspect it's the pcb board itself.
To confirm it's the battery compartment and not the battery or other circuits I temporarily took out my friends battery compartment and tried with my guitar and my battery and it worked fine.
My problem is I live in the U.A.E, I bought this guitar used a year ago when in the states. It's out of warranty period ( I don't have purchase recieipt and I'm pretty sure it was bought as part of an early batch in 2010).
I don't mind bearing the expense but does anyone know how to contact line 6 and beg them to send me a new battery compartment without having to send back the whole guitar as that would cost me almost as much as the guitar did. It is very easy to plug in a replacement I've already done it several times and I wouldn't hold anyone responsible for the results.
I love this guitar and I have no idea what caused it to fail but luckally I know someone with the same JTV 59 who let me try out his parts and eventually we narrowed it down to the battery compartment.
Please Please Please Help Anyone!!
