3 Problems with POD Farm 2.5 (interface, authorization, clean sound)

I'd bough KB37 last month and, three days after I buy I noticed that the third C# wasn't working. I send to the technical support and, a month later, havent came back yeat. Ok, besides this, THAT ISN'T THE PROBLEM!
This friday I have gig and the only interface I could borrow was a TASCAM US-100. As here says ( http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-2284 ), POD Farm 2.5 is compatible with ANY interface, so here's my problems:
1 - first of all, when I open POD Farm 2.5, he tells me I'm not authorized. I bough and registered the program MARCH/12. Then I click on the Line6Manager and he tells me I'm authorized. WHATAAHELL?!
2 - On standalone mode, the sound of my guitar pass through. I mean, the master is moving, the sound is being emitted, but it's totally clean. don't matter what I do with effects, cabs and amps, the sound is like directly connected on the PA. On VST mode (I use Ableton Live 8), the Live set-up is all correct (driver select and output channel), but when I open the VST and the sound don't even pass through the master. Consequently, no sound is emitted.
3 - On trial mode (becusa de inssue nº1), when I click on a preset, the following error appears "(Code 8000a002) Acessing a model that hasn't been added". But I've already reinstalled (2 times) the problem persist. Of course, the folder scan is in the correct folder and the presets EXIST on my computer.
I think all problems are linked, 'cus when I had my KB37 for 3 days none of those inssues happen. But that was not suppose to happen, because I bough something new that was not supposed to have a problem and POD Farm is independent (or supposed to).
Please, help me URGENT! Like I said, I've gig this friday and this problem came up now :/
Hi,
I am not sure of this but I think Pod Farm needs the kb37 plugged in first. I have a ux2 and Pod Farm plugin and standalone runs in trial mode until I plug in my ux2. The document you mention does seem to say that it works with other hardware though.
I have just seen this post ( the bottom entry) which seems to say it will not work

This is a different device but it might be the same result.
Also, just seen this page about the US-100:

That is disappointing.
Is anyone else performing with you at your gig? Do they use a similar device? I just wondered if they did, it might allow you to plug 2 instruments in and run each trhough the software.
Maybe you could try some other downloadable amp modelling software. I came across this:
http://www.download32.com/ultrawave-guitar-multi-fx-i3291.html
I don't know what its like. There are a number of them around, but you would have to find one with little latency (like Pod Farm).
Maybe someone else has some ideas.
God Bless,
David
I'm so mad because they spread wrong infos and don't even came here to give their feedback. I'm REALLY REALLY upset.
As you said, I found that topics too... But that is not what THEIR document says. The document I consulted before buying. In my country this is false advertising and I could be refunded. But where I go if i'm from Brazil? I knew that Line 6 love to complicate our lifes, but I didn't imagined that could be that pathetic.
Anyway... I'll play DJ Set with live. So no, no-one could borrow me something because I'm gonna play alone.
The only thing I think I could possibly do is migrate to Amplitube. I think it's incredible that program be so good as POD Farm (if not better) and be compatible with any interface device and any footcontroller, because I've a Shortboard MKII too... How "lucky" am I that I didn't bough another footcontroller, so that couldn't work with my KB37 ![]()
as usual, no one can help me =)
Hi again,
Hopefully your kb37 will arrive today or tomorrow.
God Bless,
David
