UX2 issues

Hi, I've been having a few issues with my UX2. First off, it won't work in one of my USB drives at all. Secondly, sometimes when I disconnect it from the USB port my entire computer crashes. Only happens occasionally. I get a blue screen of death and then my computer restarts. Thirdly, I often hear crackling/popping noises when I'm using it. The device is usable despite these problems but they're just annoying.

I've updated my drivers to the latest version. I'm using Windows 7 32bit on a Intel Core i5-2430M processor with 4gb ram and 500gb hard drive with about 170gb free. Does anyone know what might be going on here?

thanks.

Sound clucks NAND such. Are usually because your computer is not optimized for audio recording.

Go to windows.com or do a google search on ow to optimize your systemmforbaudio recording.  This helped me a lot.

    Hello ebelshoff,

I've got the same problems with  the crackling and popping noises. I found out that in my case this has something to do with my NVidia graphic card. On my notebook everytime when I change from the Intel onboard graphic card to my Nvidia card the drop outs/crackling appear. On my desktop computer they are always there .

Do you have AMD/ATI or Nvidia graphic cards?

    best regards
