Im using the pod farm vst as an effect in audacity on a dry guitar track but when I use it, it just gives the track zero signal. It says that it doesnt recognize any authorized devices when I open the vst plug in even though my UX2 is plugged in. Can anyone help me?
if you have a redface UX2, the plugin is not included by default you have to pay for an upgrade...
if it's a blackface version you may need to check the license manager to make sure that your device shows as authorized.
+1 to Zap.
Also make sure you have the most recent drivers and try different USB ports.
You can also directly contact Line6 Support.
The plug in shows up in audacity and when i click on it it shows a full pod farm window but then when i apply it to a track it cuts all signal. The .dll is in the plug in folder. Wouldnt this mean the plug in is included? or am i wrong here?
the install is always the same... everything including the plugin and all the model packs always get installed...
however, if you cant authorize them in the license manager they wont work.....
hence the redface/blackface question.

Do you have the Redface Toneport or Black Faced POD Studio?
also try different USB ports if you have the POD Studio.
I checked your account. You need to run the License Manager program to authorize the POD Studio device and the POD Farm license within it: Line 6 License Manager FAQ
