Does anyone know how to mute the sound while tuning?

My X3 Live still amplifies my guitar (with a clean tone) while I'm tuning, which sucks for live and jamming with others, because I have to turn down or they hear my tuning. My last Pod, an XT Live muted while tuning. Is there any way to get X3 Live to do the same? Your help is very appreciated!
