I have a POD XT that I have owned for years. I am wondering if I can use this (in place of a POD studio) to interface with the newest POD Farm software. If so, are there any special firmare updates required to make it happen? Any major drawbacks?
POD Farm 2.5 can be used with a POD XT Live, but it can also be used with almost any audio interface. Just buy a license from our store, then download and install POD Farm 2.51. Run the Line 6 License Manager, and your computer (and your connected XT Live, if desired) are authorized to use POD Farm. See this FAQ for more details: http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-2277
