POD X3 Live issue - definitely frustrated

Hello, simply my first post here -

Here is the current issue that I am struggling with.

I have had my POD registered roughly a year ago. Today, I re-registered, re-installed, and re-activated it on a new machine (previous machine was not registered through the license manager). Through the new registering process and usage of the license, I was able to introduce both my POD and my computer to the roster.

Now that everything was updated, registered, and installed, I went forth to edit my pod through GearBox (which has worked as usual, standalone) and went to download Pod Farm and Pod Farm 2 onto my machine. All is going well, no issues to be had.

However, this is where my problems arose. I use Cubase 5, and albeit properly introducing the VST Folders to the DAW revealed the plugins as functional, but lack all of my model packs that are given with my Live. As stated in a few other discussions, searching for a re-download of the model packs is useless, and they should come "automatically" with my POD. This, as true for GearBox as it is, does not translate into my VST's during recording. When attempting to access some of my presets from years of using this POD, I am faced with a distinct lack of models/packs and an error code reveals to me that the current model was not properly activated. This thoroughly baffles me, as I have no idea how to go around this problem. As mentioned above, I am using BOTH of the farms as inputs in my DAW, not as standalone applications.

I wish the "add on" option was still available in my optional addons through monkey, as to me it seems that purely installing the model packs onto my machine would be a solution. However, I cannot even go into offline mode and install these addons as an account login is required in order to download these packs.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Triryche - I am sorry I don't agree - it would appear to me that the OP falls into category 3. He says that he bought and registered his pod approx 1 year ago, which makes it definitely AFTER October 2009.

Lhystory - I would certainly suggest opening a support ticket directly with Line 6 about this. They will be able to tell your purchase dates and registration details and should be able to sort you out.

      Good luck
