Cubase 5 with Hd400

Can the hd 400 edit be used with cubase 5 ?

Not sure exactly what you mean. Describe what you are trying to do, and what is not behaving as expected.

  cubase not reconizing hd 400 as plug in ...i adjusted driver and updated vst plug in but still nothing ...?

    The HD400 is not a plugin - it is an audio interface hardware device as far as your DAW (Cubase) is concerned. It should be recognized in the Audio device configuration area of Cubase. Select the HD400 and its ASIO driver to enable recording and playback of audio from/to the HD400 within Cubase.
    
    The Line 6 plugin product is called Pod Farm. You will need to purchase it if you want to use it,
