MKii editor ap for ipad?

I play in a church band, and would really love to have the editing feature right there at my finger tips. My spider valve is a great amplifier, but the editing features on the amp itself are a pain. I like how the vetta had the individual knobs for the editing right under the screen. A feature i would like to have seen added to the new Spider valve. Anyhow, Is this a topic that has been tossed around? I think it would be awesome to have an ap for the ipad to edit this sucker on the fly. I wanted to start a poll, but cannot figure out how. I would pay a couple of bucks for an ap for this thing.
They already have a midi interface for the ipad, so the app would just have to be written. Put in a feature request with Line 6 to have Spider Edit created for the iPad. I wouldn't think that'd be on their priority list, but they're always up for new ideas.
Could maybe someone from line 6 answer this question?
won't happen...
primarily because they won't discuss what they are working on...
if they did answer they would simply advise you to put in the feature request like jws did.
best to just get a laptop or netbook if this is important to you now... because it may or may not happen in the future.
another option would be to use a midi controller app for the iPad. Then connect the midi mobilizer to the POD. Use the POD advanced guide to set the midi controls up on the app. Then you'll have a controller for your POD. It won't be one you'd use to set up patches, but rather to control parameter values in real-time.

And while they'r at it, make a standalone Line6 Monkey for iOS too... ![]()
It's sooo much easier to bring your iPhone or iPad to the rehersals than a computer to make updates och backup your patches.
(or You could bring the firmware update support into the editor...)
