I had the exact same problem last year and reported it to Line6 and after investigating the problem for me they agreed it was faulty and replaced it with a brand new guitar.

If this is a new guitar send it back to retailer and ask for a replacement.  If you have problems with retailer then contact Line 6 directly by phone and they will resolve for you.
