Spider Jam static noise

Hello. I bought my Line 6 spider jam about 1.5 years ago and hardly used it. I am starting to get back into now and find that when I turn the unit on there is a high amount of static noise coming from the amp with no guitar sounds being amplified. I tried turning down the mic input to below -5 and it made the static go down a little bit but still no guitar sound is coming through. I don't think that I purchased the extended warranty from Guitar Center but like I said the amp was used very little and was definitely not dropped or banged around at all.
Please advise if I can resolve this issue through Line 6 directly without paying extra money on top of the price that I already paid for the amp.
Thanks,
Dan

Hello- I have the same problem out of nowhere. Bought the amp a year ago. Used about 30 times. Last use it worked great and turned off. Week later I turned it on and static noise when nothing is plugged in and tried different outlets (but it worked fine the whole year in the same spot(plug) . Tried the factory reset I saw other posts <hold A and turn on> . Can you assist me please so I can play again? Thank you- Rob
Make sure your MIC Level Knob is all the way down. Its the shinney knob on the far left of the amp.
