Pod Studio UX1 setup with Studio Monitors and other issues

Hello.
I gott a Pod Studio UX1 today and had issues setting it up. I installed all the drivers, everything there is fine but I'm having problems with my studio monitors. I'm using the Cakewalk/Roland MA-15DCW monitors. I used a double RCA to 3.5 mm connector and a 3.5 mm female to 6.3 mm male adapter to hookup my speakers to my UX1. However, When I plug them into my Stereo Monitor In on the UX1, no sound comes out. What I've tried is using the Analog Out jack to plugin my monitors, but sound only comes out through 1 speaker, since I can only do 1 at a time. What should I do now? Also, when I plug my UX1 into a recording program, they sound really weird, having some kind of strange overtone you could expect from these cheap recording stuff: http://bit.ly/N2v6DL I don't know why It's doing that, When I here sound demos on YouTube with Guitar Rig and Pod Farm, they sound great. When I load those presets into Pod Farm/Guitar Rig they sound horrible, while I have the same equipment as them. Also, I think this might be becuase of my soundcard, I'm just using a laptop with a built in soundcard. Please help guys.
Hi,
I don't have the UX1 but I have a few things to offer:
1. the stereo monitor in is for plugging in something like a cd player, so that you can hear the cd while playing. This won't be sent to the computer though.
2. from what I've seen online of the monitors, you could take the rcas and connect one to the analog out left and the other to the analog out right. Take these to the back of the right speaker (monitors) (I think it's the right one) and plug the one from the analog left into the line in 2 L socket, and take the other from the analog out right, to the line 2 R rca socket.
3. You need to change your settings so that you are not using your laptop's soundcard for any sound when the ux1 is running. The UX1 will become the soundcard. So, you need to listen to the output through the ux1's output.
Forgive me if I have misunderstood anything you have done or why etc....like when you say you can only plug in one speaker. I might be taking you up wrongly. You might mean that for some reason it cannot connect to the back of the right speaker. If it is ok, you I think would plug the left speaker wire into the socket on the back of the right speaker, labeled 'to left' under the 'Output' area.
Hope this helps a bit,
God Bless,
David
Do your monitors each have a seperate input?
If so, run the L&R 1/4 analog outs of the UX to the 1/8" in of each monitor. (from wha tI could fiind there are only 1/8' inputs).
The adoptor you showed should work, but you would need 2 of them. But the adoptor you showed is a trs adoptor (tip/ring/sleeve). You really only need 2 ts adoptors.
OK, it looks like you on your monitors, one was to feed the other the signal, not 100% sure.
But if this is the cause, you would need a TRS 1/8 cable to connect to the first (usually left) monitor.
So in you scenario, you could plug the 1/4" to 1/8" adoptar into the Headphone socket of the UX and the 1/8" TRS cab;e from the adaptor to the monitors.
Or you can get r 1/4" TS to 1/8" trs cable and plug into the analog outs of the UX.

Clear us mud!!??
Well, this is cable is all I have for now:http://www.coolgear.com/images/SS-6FT-1F2RCA.jpg
Which I then use this to connect to the UX1:http://www.cable-trader.co.uk/images/items/AC-007GOLD_3_5mm_6_3mm.JPG
Does that mean I'd have to get this? :http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/shop_image/product/30528-zaolla-dual-rca-to-6.3mm-jack-2.1-metres-large.jpg
Also guys, my Monitors have a built in DAC (digital to analog convertor) for the 3.5 mm minijack out, but not for the RCA outs. Would the RCA sound better then the minijacks?
Can you post a pic of the connections on the back of your monitors?

I didn't take this picture but its the exact same monitor so it doesn't matter
OK. You have everything you need.
Use the 1/4 TRS to 1/8 TRS adaptor in the UX headphone socket.
Then your 1/8 TRS to 2 RCA.
Plug the 2 RCA into the back of your right monitor (the one with the controls on the front).
You then need to connect the right monitor (output to left) to the left monitor. (The right monitor supplies the power for both).
Stay in the mix and in the know.
